Cut the tilapia into pieces, marinate with ½ teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon pepper, garlic powder, coriander powder, and 1 tablespoon lime juice. Marinate for at least 5 minutes.
Prepare a blender, add the ground spices. Blend and set aside.
Bring the broth to a boil, add the blended spices and herbs. Cook for 5 minutes.
Add the cassava pieces, stir and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes.
Next, add the carrots, salt, ground pepper, sugar, and bouillon powder. Cook for 5 minutes.
Add the tilapia, scallions, celery, and lime juice. Stir gently. Cook for 5-6 minutes and turn off the heat.
